Pepe’s Piri Piri’s Story starts in London back in the year 2004. At the time, Piri Piri wasn’t well known in the UK. It was only available in a handful of places. That was all about to change with the launch of Pepe’s very first store in London. It was called Pepe’s Piri Piri.
In just a few weeks, Pepe’s Piri Piri chicken became the talk of the entire town. It was the first brand to use the name Piri Piri. Perhaps a sense of curiosity attracted its first few customers. But it was the taste of their delicious chicken, startlingly fresh and flavorful, that kept bringing them back. They told their families, who told their friends, who told others, and soon there were lines beside the door. The mains of the pepe’s are pepe’s wings, spicy rice, salads, onion rings, fries, potato wedges, mozzarella sticks, and corn on the cob.
